About

Game OVERVIEW

Each player may control a number of characters, each with a designated class: Monster or Defender. Each class has seven different types. Characters may move around different cards that represent locations. Once per turn a player may draw a card if one of their characters has moved from one location to another, “discovering” what that location may hold. Each location also has conditions that can affect the game. Choose wisely which location you want your characters on. Each location depicts two character types, one Monster and one Defender. When a character is on a location with a type that matches their own, it unlocks the character’s special ability. The object of the game is to eliminate your opponents characters, putting them into their Graveyard until the HP from all characters in their Graveyard reaches 200 (or another agreed upon number). Each player shuffles their deck. If a player does not have at least 1 location card in their hand, they must shuffle their hand back into their deck and redraw another 6 cards. Each player then plays a location card face down. Once both players have played their face-down location, they flip them over. The player that played the location with the lowest number on it goes first. If the numbers are the same, flip a coin. The number on the location indicates how much HP capacity that card adds to the play area. For example: if you have a character with a HP of 50, the HP capacity of all Location cards in play would need to be at least 50. The total HP of all characters in play may not exceed the HP capacity of all locations in play Strategy: Lower HP on a location limits your choices of playing more powerful characters, but it limits your opponent too. Each location has an inherent condition written on it. Some say “When you play this card” or “When you use a Move To Location action to move on to this card” either way it should be apparent when the location's conditions are triggered. The player that goes first may not use their location's condition on their first turn, but they may use their opponent’s. For more information, read the rules!
